المهية (FinGoals) ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

1. Information We Collect

• Personal details you enter: name, monthly salary.
• Financial records you create: expenses, categories, savings goals, recurring expenses.
• Security settings: your PIN (stored encrypted with AES-256 on your device) and biometric preference.
• App preferences: language and currency selection.
• Anonymous crash and usage data collected by Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (no personally identifiable information is included in these reports).
• Advertising identifier: in the free version, Google AdMob accesses your device's advertising ID and basic device information to display ads. Premium users see no ads.

2. How We Store Your Data

All personal and financial data is stored locally on your device using an encrypted SQLite database. We do not transmit your financial data to any server unless you explicitly enable the Cloud Sync feature (Premium).

3. Cloud Sync (Premium Feature)

If you enable Cloud Sync, your expenses and savings goals are uploaded to Firebase Realtime Database under your anonymous device ID. This data is protected by Firebase security rules and is only accessible to your device. You can delete your cloud data at any time from the Cloud Sync screen.

4. Third-Party Services

• Firebase Analytics — collects anonymous usage events to help us improve the app.
• Firebase Crashlytics — collects anonymous crash reports.
• Firebase Realtime Database — stores your data when Cloud Sync is enabled (Premium only).
• Google AdMob — displays ads in the free version of the app.

These services are provided by Google LLC and are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Advertising

To keep المهية free, the free version displays ads provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect and use your device's advertising identifier and certain device information. AdMob may use this to show personalized or non-personalized ads, in accordance with Google's Advertising policies.

You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time from your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads). Upgrading to Premium removes all ads.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal or financial data to anyone. Your financial records — expenses, salary, and savings goals — are never shared with advertisers or data brokers. The only information shared with our advertising partner (Google AdMob) is the standard device and advertising-identifier data described in the Advertising section above, used solely to display ads.

7. Data Retention & Deletion

Your local data remains on your device until you uninstall the app or clear the app's data from your device settings. Cloud data (if any) can be deleted by you from within the app. We do not retain any copies.

8. Children's Privacy

المهية is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be reflected in the "Effective" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
